The two became household names after they let the media into their unique lives for a program on TLC. Over the years they’ve gone through ups and downs just like all of us. Abby and Brittany Hensel are conjoined twins. Today the girls are living their lives and enjoying all that life has to offer. The show only lasted a season and after the media frenzy surrounding their circumstances began to die down they decided to live their lives outside of the spotlight. They each earned their driver’s license and graduated from high school and then college. The girls defied the odds and managed to grow up leading as normal a life as possible. Doctors said that they would unlikely survive an operation to separate and their parents opted to allow them to grow up as is. The girls were born sharing the same body. On Mathe girls were born, to everyone’s surprise, not just as twins but as conjoined twins. Abby and Brittany Hensel were born as dicep halic parapagus ( conjoined twins) and their parents were given two options separate them and risk losing one or both or leave them to grow up together. They lived a normal life going to school, having first experiences, and sometimes clashing with their protective parents. Abby and Brittany Hensel’s arrival was a surprise to her parents and the doctors who attended to their mother in the labor room because her antenatal scan only showed a child, not two.
